John is the Managing Broker of Hutchinson Island Real Estate, a community-owned real estate brokerage serving Jensen Beach, South Hutchinson Island, Nettles Island, and Florida’s Treasure Coast.

With more than 20 years of real estate experience, John helps homeowners, buyers, investors, and property owners navigate residential, multifamily, commercial, and investment real estate. His background encompasses brokerage, property management, real estate syndication, operational improvement, and large-scale portfolio management.

Experience Built on Service and Discipline

Before entering real estate, John served for 10 years in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Reactor Operator and Electronics Technician. His military experience instilled the discipline, attention to detail, technical judgment, and commitment to accountability that continue to define his approach to real estate.

After completing his military service, John worked in manufacturing engineering and Six Sigma continuous improvement. During that time, he developed advanced skills in process improvement, data-driven decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving—skills he now uses to help clients evaluate properties, manage risk, and make well-informed real estate decisions.

Comprehensive Real Estate and Property Management Expertise

John’s real estate career began in multifamily and commercial property management. At one point, he was responsible for approximately 5,000 residential units across a portfolio extending from Michigan to Florida. This experience gave him an extensive understanding of property operations, tenant relations, budgeting, asset performance, and long-term property value.

As a licensed real estate broker for more than two decades, John has represented clients in the purchase and sale of:

  • Single-family and coastal homes

  • Condominiums and resort properties

  • Multifamily properties

  • Commercial real estate

  • Vacation and investment properties

  • Income-producing real estate

John has also sponsored syndicated real estate investments involving more than 100 high-net-worth investors.
